Even more amazing than the heartfelt apology, Premier Smith said she was seriously considering granting a legal amnesty to any Albertans charged with lockdown offences — as in, dropping all the charges ! This is very exciting. Alberta is now the first jurisdiction in Canada — perhaps even in the world — to apologize to its unvaccinated citizens for discriminating against them.

Je me permets de rappeler les aventures du Pasteur Artur Pawlowski de Calgary, Alberta

 

Au début de la pandémie de COVID-19, le pasteur Artur Pawlowski nourrissait les sans-abri du centre-ville de Calgary lorsque plus d’une demi-douzaine de policiers l’ont encerclé et lui ont infligé une amende de 1 200 dollars pour avoir prétendument enfreint les règles de confinement.

Depuis lors, l’avocat de premier ordre du pasteur Artur se bat comme une lionne pour lui.

Le 22 juillet 2022, la Cour d’appel de l’Alberta a statué que l’injonction à son encontre, son arrestation, son emprisonnement, l’ordonnance de censure et les amendes à son encontre étaient illégales.

En outre, le 11 octobre 2022, un juge de Calgary a déclaré le pasteur Artur Pawlowski non coupable des accusations portées contre lui à la suite d’un incident survenu dans un Shoppers Drug Mart de la région de Calgary en décembre 2021, au cours duquel il a été accusé d’intrusion et de trouble à l’ordre public alors qu’il tentait de récupérer son courrier au bureau de poste situé à l’intérieur du magasin.
